ZEVIZAR – Disaster Preparedness and Resilience was born from a deep conviction: that every individual, family, and institution deserves to be prepared for the unexpected.
Founded in 2025 by Nurullah Bektaş, a disaster risk management expert and community empowerment advocate, ZEVIZAR emerged in response to the growing need for accessible, localized, and practical disaster education. Drawing on years of experience in emergency response, education, and innovation, Nurullah set out to build an organization that could bridge the gap between information and action—between knowing what to do and being ready to do it.
From Vision to Action
What began as a grassroots initiative quickly evolved into a scalable, multi-sector platform. ZEVIZAR is established to collaborated with local municipalities and NGOs to pilot training workshops and public awareness campaigns in vulnerable regions.
Recognizing the power of technology to scale impact, the organization expanded to include an interdisciplinary team of AI developers, educators, and risk management consultants. By late 2025, ZEVIZAR had already begun building its online learning platform—an interactive, self-paced system designed to bring disaster preparedness education into homes, schools, and workplaces across the globe.

ZEVIZAR’s success is grounded in collaboration. The organization is forging partnerships with universities, community leaders, government institutions, and international NGOs. These partnerships enable it to reach underserved communities and develop training programs that were both inclusive and effective.
The team grew to include subject-matter experts, technology innovators, and a vibrant community of volunteers and interns, creating a collective effort focused on resilience, readiness, and recovery.
